I’m Alyssa—an artist, storyteller, and deep-feeler.

I was born and raised in South Florida and now live in Fort Lauderdale with my boyfriend, Adam, and our mini goldendoodle, Charlie. My love for photography started when I was just a girl—curious and captivated by a Nikon D3000 my mom brought home. But the truth is, I think I’ve always been searching for connection—long before I ever picked up a camera.
I grew up fast—the oldest daughter of young parents who were also navigating life for the first time. There were challenges that shaped me early on, but those experiences made me deeply empathetic. I’ve learned to notice the quiet details, to feel what’s unspoken, and to recognize the beauty in people—especially when they can’t always see it in themselves.
I danced competitively for most of my life, and for a long time, dance was my way of transforming pain into something beautiful. It connected me to something higher—something soulful and honest. While I eventually left the world of dance behind, I’ve spent the last few years finding my way back to that same feeling through photography.
This work is more than just pictures to me. It’s about presence, healing, and holding space. It’s about helping people feel deeply seen, just as they are. Whether I’m photographing a mother holding her baby, a couple soaking in their love, or someone simply choosing to celebrate themselves—I want you to feel understood, honored, and at home in your own story.
I’m not someone who rushed to figure it all out. I’ve moved slowly, intentionally—learning to embrace the wisdom that comes from going at my own pace. And now, I know this is where I’m meant to be.
